Yup, this is to be expected currently. Safari does not enable WebAssembly GC or tail calls in their production builds currently and Hoot relies on both features.
awesome! glad to hear it! I think Safari 18.2 stable will be out within a week which means it won't be long before all updated macos/ios machines can run hoot programs.

FYI, doesn't load for me on Safari, Mac silicon. (Works in Firefox though)

I just tried it with latest Safari Tech Preview (Release 208) and it finally runs! Looks like I can finally start testing/trying out Goblins
